I watched this with my daughter and I have come away with anger toward Belly. I am sure the author of the books and screenplay did not wish for this but she comes across as EXTREMELY immature and rude and EXTREMELY egocentric. If I want to watch a movie, series with narcissistic characters I would hope it is a psychological thriller not a teenage soap opera with waaaaaay too much language. And Rom coms should not have a narcissistic female or male character. Otherwise it is just a real life story that we don’t want to watch for entertainment. I am sorry I watched the show. I want to feel good at the end of a rom com not angry that a 15 yo child could come between two brothers and what is worse (they let her)! Secondly, Conrad should have walked away from her in the first season and chosen someone who really cared and wasn’t fickle. I will say that the actors who played Conrad, Belly and Susannah do know how to act. They really did a great job. It’s just sad they had such sad little superficial roles to play. Hope the actors find depth in other work.
