My children enjoyed this film. They loved the music, characters, and the fantasy aspect. ( there was lots of singing in this film) I love the real life experiances Skydance Animation puts on the screen. With the movie "Luck" (which is one of my faves), it delt with foster care/adoption. With "Spelledbound" it deals with families going in different directions separation/divorce. Though I personally would have liked the Dynamics to be a little different.. it was a good movie and my family enjoyed it.

There were to many adult jokes in this one... The plot felt rushed and all over the place. Thankfully I have young ones who hopefully the adult jokes go over their head ... The 1st and 2nd troll movies were okay ... this one I did not enjoy. My children did like all the musical numbers in this movoe though.
