I'm not a writer or a movie critic I enjoy what I enjoy! but I am a movie fanatic that has lost his way and has not being able to really get into movies because of the events that have happened since covid, the writers strike and all the terminal going on in these times. As someone with the what "If" mentality, of what if this would of happened or what if this went that way if that or that. This review is more to let you know what this movie ment to me and how grateful I was to stumble upon it on a day I was feeling pretty low.
As I started watching it, I was having a hard time keeping my attention to it as it did start out pretty slow, as I continued watching, I got more interested in, I even had to stop because I really had no idea what this movie was about and had to look it up. As a child I had a huge imagination and tons of imaginary friends, adults and my brothers in my life where telling me to grow up and quit imagining what if and get to making real friends.
This movie is a great family film, but not only that it's great for just adults and kids. It will make adults that have grown make it realize it's good and healthy to have a if, as parents, it will help with encouraging your kids to keep up with that imagination and even get involved with them, take the time to enjoy and interact when they are with their if.
This was a very well directed movie with a awesome cast, the humor the emotions and just a great all around entertaining feel good movie. I've always been a Ryan Reynolds fan since 2 guys a girl and a pizza place and I have tons of favorite movies of his, this one is now the top!
If you're a parent grab your kids sit back enjoy, if looking for a good fun date movie guys/gals, they/them or whatever. Watch this movie! Just an adult looking for a good watch, watch it!
