Don't let any outside opinions waiver you from watching this. It was a very good first episode!! In comparison with that new percy jackson show. THIS is how exciting I wish percy jackson would have been 😭😭

So incredibly rushed. No depth. You don't get to connect with any of the characters at all. I get wanting to make each episode a chapter of the book.... but that was such a bad idea. Too much happens in a chapter to fit in a 40 minute episode. And I agree with most people, the casting should have been accurate to the descriptions in the book. As readers we imagine how they look and if we see them in person we want to see them how they were described (mostly). And before anyone hops on the racism bandwagon with Annabeth, no that's not the only character I'm thinking about. In fact, if Annabeth was portrayed as black in the books, then I'd be upset if they made her white in the show. Same logic.
