I've just started reading TSAR and I must say that I'm finding it a chore to read. I'm at Chapter VI and not enjoying it at all. I've read other Hemingway novels and enjoyed them, but not this one. I'm hoping that something will happen, soon. The dialogue is very stilted and looks as if it was written by some of my year 9 students. When I start reading something I always like to finish it, but I'm going to struggle to finish this. Do I recommend TSAR? No.
