I'm not a fan of Tom Holland so don't expect praise here like what other reviews are doing. This movie is alright it's not a blockbuster like the creators claim but I'll go as far to say it's better than the 2017 mummy film with Tom Cruise. These two films are slightly similar in comparison because they are both adaptations of an already existing popular series franchise which are praised by many regardless of the source material. The likes of Nolan North and Brendan Fraser are hard roles to live up to but it's Uncharted I have to say this movie could of been more interesting if they cast Ryan Reynolds as Nathan Drake instead. It's taken over 10 years to get this movie out so of course Uncharted fans are going to have high expectations and criticise but at the same time it's being praised by Holland fans fresh off the success of no way home sorta like tic-tac-toe. When all said and done this is based on the Uncharted series don't expect long term fans to not compare this adaptation to the source material because it happens all the time with different genres.
