Big fan of the books and the Series.. sadly as other reviews say, this just does not due the series justice. The abrupt change in Athelstans storyline was out of place for his character.. if your familiar w the source material. Uhtred and company should be much older than they are here. 2 more seasons would have been needed to really tell the story proper. There are main characters completely left out and the story is rushed and not loyal to the last 3 books. That being said.. thenaction was good and it was nice seeing the characters on screen again.
