Excellent special effects but very disrespectful to the Asian community and farmers. Asians are portrayed as a group of people as dumb and happy to be living 3rd world poor while coexisting with very advanced high A.I. technology. Asian farmers wont live dirt poor as portrayed on the film. They'd be like the West, living as modern farmers instead of stuck in a backwards society. Whoever writes the script for such depiction clearly doesn't understand how Asians live and think. Shame on the Asian actors for not voicing out their concerns, unless they are white-washed themselves.

I was excited at first until the explanations from Albert Lin turned far fetched. His goal (or the producers) is to come up with any scientific explanation even if it is unlikely. Good riddance the show only had one season with 2 episodes.

I disagree with the Rotten Tomatoes and iMDB on this one. The movie kept my attention from beginning to end even the tear jerker moments were excellently performed and not overly dramatic. The sci-fi storyline was easy to understand and not too technical. Finally it was just the right length. Not too long or too short. I would definitely enjoy equally had Netflix or in the future create an 8 to 10 episode miniseries.

This is not at the same level as Squid Game or even Train to Busan ... but I consider it as terrible as Train to Busan 2:Peninsula.
