If you're looking for an engaging book filled romance, wit, excitement, and fun, as the title suggests... this is NOT it. The storyline is poorly executed, lacks fluidity and told through the viewpoint of the most incredibly narcissistic, self-entitled character.
The premise of this book is that Vivian is writing to Angela to describe how she came to know father. It's not until 85% through the book that the father is finally introduced as a character. At this point, the story feels completely disconnected to the rest of the book in which Vivian drones on about her beauty and recounts her idiotic adventures in NYC.
This book had so much potential.. however, it is simply boring and quite irritating.
