This is my go-to holiday version of A Christmas Carol. I just love the music, esp. standout ballad "Happiness" and ensemble numbers "Father Christmas" "I Lke Life" and "Thank You Very Much." Albert Finney is an excellent Scrooge. This version very much conveys the feel of a Victorian London Christmas.

For those who only know the story of Evita from the musical, this series explores the fate of her embalmed corpse. Engrossing throughout, it disappoints somewhat in leaving out the final chapters of the body, after it was returned to Perón in exile in Spain, where the sorcerer Lopez Rega did spells to drive Eva's spirit into Peron's 3rd wife Isabel, who became president of Argentina.

Hilarious dark comedy. The screenplay is a hoot.
