I purchased a copy of this book when my husband and I were expecting our first child over 30 years ago. I would read a little bit of this book every time I sat down to nurse him, and ultimately read the whole thing. I have referred to it ever since with each one of our children, and now with our grandchildren. It gave me a huge level of comfort to have such a wonderful resource to refer to, and guidance to know when something could be taken care of at home, or if I truly needed to take a child to the doctor. Would highly recommend for all mothers!
