This movie was really great despite all the negative reviews...Everyone that are hating say that its too long, racist???, boring, or too woke, or pushing feminine agenda...I feel like those people who say that are too dull to actually see the bigger picture. While the movie focuses heavily on the death of T'Challa/Chadwick Boseman (RIP), and how Shuri will take on the mantle of Black Panther, this movie is really about western Imperialism and colonialism. What we see in the movie is that western Nations(ex: France and the USA want to take Vibranium (and perhaps forcefully) for weapons of mass destruction from the African nation of Wakanda and from underwater where Namor's nation , Talokan, resides in (which is evidently based on Indigenous people native to Mexico). Throughout the movie, Namor is depicted as the main villain here as he wants to take revenge of western nations (Spanish colonizers and USA) for exploitation and want to take vibranium) and seeks help from Wakanda. Not only that he is also angry that Wakandas are hiding the person who knows how to extract Vibranium underwater. As a result, this creates allot of tension between Wakanda and Talokan. Then a war breaks out between the two nations but in the end no one wins and there is no real villain between them. Its actually the American government lying and wanting to gain more power and what the want. So, it is clear that this can be said its a "black vs brown" fight. Yes, it's what White supremacy thrives off of. A constant racial tension and division between other minority races where one race is still considered superior.
