While I thought I would ( and did at some points) enjoy the way the show endeavors to question a typical monogamous marriage, It suggests that the only option in non monogamy and sexual desire outside of your marriage is dark deceitful and dirty. Several group sex scenes display horrible values around consent and a complete broach of trust between the couple which is frankly not the norm in those communities. Basically the show depicts a triangle of people hurting one another because they cannot be honest about their fears and desires! The fact that she is a therapist is highly improbably given that she and her husband have the communication skills of a handful of leaves. This is a missed opportunity to show a couple navigating a common and understandably rough point in an otherwise healthy and loving marriage. It is entertaining for sure- but I found it kinda slut shame-y and unrealistic.
