I watched it because I heard it was going to be similar to 'Gilmore Girls,' which I love. But whoever compared it to 'Gilmore Girls' should have their television privileges revoked. 'Gilmore Girls' is packed with quick-witted humor, whereas 'Ginny and Georgia' was full of sexist remarks that were far from funny. In fact, I didn't laugh once. Most of the writing made me uncomfortable because of how out of touch it was. It isn't even as modern as 'Gilmore Girls.' Even with all the iPhones and MacBooks, it somehow managed to feel more dated than a show that is almost 20 years old. You can't just sprinkle in a few interracial relationships and consider it progressive. Also, respect Taylor Swift. Those jokes are cheap and have never been funny. Please don't make a second season.
