I was charmed with the first few pages and the promise of a topic dealing with respect for and understanding of cultures other than one's own.
Then, on page 10, there it was; "Baffin Island in Newfoundland". It never was and certainly is not now in Newfoundland. It is in Nunavit, a territory in Canada largely populated by Inuit.
Such an obvious mistake and in a book about respect for other cultures? Shame on you Gillian.
