I fell asleep during it. I am struggling to like this show, I loved the books, but it just doesn't hit as hard as the books do. I find it deeply frustrating to watch, having read the books, I watch good parts of book skipped over and my favourite characters watered down into nothingness. Whats wrong having mostly chinese heroes?.. doesn't that fit into a hollywood agenda Maybe I am biased, I really did try and see it as seperate from the book.. its just when you know a better told version of the story, its hard not to be dissapointed. What a waste of some great actors and source material

I loved armoured core 1 and 2... this is a bit different in the way it plays.. its faster paced and has systems that are not native to the original design, like having health potions. But when I excepted that its a different game, with each mission I grew more respect for the design choices. It is exceptional, fun and rewarding.. just gets there in a slightly different way then its predecessor's. .... The helicopter boss in the tutorial is a near vertical learning curve, it does feel unfair due to it being able to leave the arena bounds and the fact your forced to use the starter mech's play style... but keep pushing, the game is so much better than that.

I prefer 3rd Edition, but this game has made me appreciate the streamline nature of 5th Edition. Its a very good game, and really captures the feel of dice rolls and tactic's. Its also nice how even though you make your own characters, they have personality.

I am not going to give it a 5 or 1, to swing the score, only be fair. Yes this game is buggy, its been stated pretty much every where. I'm playing the pc version, and it seems the better your rig the less buggy it will be, that's not to say i haven't been frustrated and amused at some the bugs i have encountered playing. Aside from this, it has to be said CD Projekt Red have created some think completey remarkable here. Its a mess, but it also an incredible achievement. The city is so atmospheric, with its neon lights flickering through the darkness and rain. The dirty cluttered streets, or advertisment cluttered sprawls. The story has its moments, that genuinely hit the mark emotionaly.. albet a little contrived maybe, it still makes you feel attached to the characters. Look through the bugs, and there is some think really special at its core, now if they could only make it VR, or at least give me the jacket from akira to go with the bike..
