To call this film anything short of a masterpiece of visual and aural splendour is to do it a disservice.
I had no idea what this film was about, but I was entranced with the stylised scenes and the shades of colour. Each set-piece was mystical and the colour palate was brilliant. I felt like it was a Dali painting come to life. The symbolism was universal but ultimately unknowable. The structure flowed into my conscience with no interpretation. Each scene could be a surrealist painting but each segue melted seamlessly into the next. Bizzare and beauty juxtaposed.
