In my family we have something called the 15 minute-rule and it's pretty self explanatory. If it's not good in 15 minutes, it's not good. And this movie made it up to 10 minutes.
I could sit here for hours, and tell that this film seemed VERY forced, or that they had a NSFW +18 joke IN A "KIDS" FILM, or that the bad guys are not people I hate.
I l know that sounds wrong but hear me out. So the "Marv and Harry" of this story a married couple trying to get out of financial debt by getting an antique THAT THE BRATTY SNOT NOSED KID TOOK. And at that point I want the couple to win.
Lastly, the kid and his mom are British. Now I have nothing wrong with British people, but it was just the mom and the kid. I don't get why they did that, what was the point?
So I'll leave you with this. This movie has been an inside joke in our family that if we watch a film Lord knows it will not be home sweet home alone. (And I hated that name, out of all the names... WHY!?!)
