Intense- had me on edge with a perpetual feeling of menace. Loved Kevin Costner’s stoic portrayal of the retired lawman of the west. Diane Lane, is out of her usual “sensitive woman with depth” casting, playing a determined, focused, woman with a mission. It’s a great role for her and the pairing of these two really worked. The big sky vistas, the isolation of folks in the west, and the period it was set in - all done beautifully. One I will watch again.
