I wouldn't really call this a biopic after reading multiple stories around the controversies, but did we consider Bollywood so seriously to trust them in making real biopics? What happened to MS Dhoni's biopic? Every such movie is going to twist the facts, but look at how the movie is made.
Here, Ranbir's acting is what I would ask people to go watch the movie for, and to add to that, Paresh Rawal was at his best. The movie is totally recommended for how it is directed, how the action is, but not for how it portrays the character (which we cannot ever control in a financial market called Bollywood).
