5/10 Apart from the great acting skills Fine cinematography Nice make up and effects The film was messed up, origins of the zombie attack was not explained, reason and trauma of Sid Lucero towards his Dad (Joel Torre) was not explained in detail? Why did they even bring Enchong Dee on the scene only to be killed the following day? Death of Francis (Sid Lucero) at the end without any meaningful substance to either make up for his mistakes or explanation of why he was acting that way was not explained as well What happened to his family? Why did they include the scene of cutting the arm? The older son being AWOL at the later part of the movie? It’s just a total mess it didn’t have any story at all. They say a beautiful movie consists of a great story and good scenes. It did had good scenes but a very poor vague story. Much disappointment for 2 hours screen play.

One of the BEST Movies I’ve seen in my whole life. The substance refers to a drug that can release the best version of yourself. The person who takes the substance at first enjoys the euphoric experience of being loved, center of attention living your dream life. Then after a certain amount of time you’ll then have to go back to reality where everything is not how it was. You tend to compare your experiences with the life you have while you’re using the substance vs when your on your regular self until you finally lose yourself in the process ending up harming and not wanting to go back to your old self any longer. Not knowing that the more you indulge the greater the toll it takes on your well being. It’s very deep and well orchestrated I loved this movie so much on of the best movies of all time
