while this movie ultimately has flaws, I found it to be a gruesome horror flick that took a few too many liberties with the storyline. The original story didn’t have flirtatious love interests or the wonky alpaca story arc and I have to say that there were two distinct references to The Thing that I could not place from in the book. Liberties with the story aside, I found this to be a good horror film and I thought they did a decent job conveying “inescapable horror beyond human comprehension”. I wish they would have stayed closer to the source material; I feel that the extra glut the producers added to this movie drag it down where as it could have been more streamlined and awful (As in full of awe and terror).

Simply stunning. A flawless, beautiful symphony of light, sound and your input. I’ve never seen a game with this much intensity going on, at times it was a bit overwhelming, but dear lord what a freaking ride!
