Ok look, I watched this because I was bored and last time I saw it I was 7 and it was 1:00am. But damn this film rocks! I really just loved it, and it all seemed to wrap up at the end. Like it maybe didn’t need two sequels… But anyway, oh my god I love Beca’s hair, the singing hits hard and Jesse has my heart forever. Literally the perfect guy. I‘vr also had many of the ‘put together’ songs in my head for ages, like the Tremble’s finals song. What I think they should have done after that film came out instead of making 2 and 3, is make a series - hear me out. It follows the lives of our main characters on campus, playing a bit like a teen drama (adult Victorious). It would maybe have a few new characters, keep the old ones, and be funny but have serious bits. Perfect!! PITCH perfect! That’s alllll they had to do, but for now it can remain a fantasy in my head. While this film isn’t for anyone, you should probably give it a go cuz if you like it, then it’s brilliant -K

I think everyone was hoping for more Louis Partridge, especially my 17 year old sister, but I for one think that they were very wise, as Tewkesbury wasn’t a vital character. He was in it a fair amount without it being unfair. Spoilers ahead, by the way. It was very very good, and the plot kept you interested. I’m extremely happy with and impressed at their use of the Match-girl’s Strike of 1888. Although the mystery does rely on the watch not knowing about the history. But I’m being picky there. They used the characters well, as I mentioned, and I was impressed and delighted at their choice to make Moriaty a woman. It makes sense to me, finally give the character a brilliant motive. Milly Bobby-Brown is absolutely phenomenal in all her work; she’s actually a great comic actor which isn’t shown off in her Stranger Things. It was a funny film, factual, exciting, and mysterious. It certainly achieved. And I’d love to boast that I figured out who Sarah was the minute Cicily came on screen. But I won’t because that would be bragging. So if you like the first one, or not or anything really, you should watch this one!

⚠️Spoilers⚠️ I really did immediately love this film. The voice acting and animation is so natural, it feels like one of those movie bloopers you get in Pixar. The whole message is perfect, and it dies an amazing job at delivering everything simply yet spectacularly. The characters develop as well; we see Nod go from not caring or bothering to be a soldier to him knowing what he can do for his homeland, and being a good recruit (also the part where Nod is trying not to leave Ronin in the place where his father actually died was so heavy if you look into it, it felt real). Ronin learns to smile for his Queen, and MK learned how close her Dad really was to her really. I also really liked how they gave the villain a motive, and strengthened it by killing off his son. I did actually feel bad for him. Overall, this film may be the missing piece in your life, I’m serious. If you haven’t already, watch it, and see how great it really is. -K

This on is better than I remember rewatching it. Although good, the story line ks nothing special, but that isn't my focus. I spotted some genuinly hilarious moments in the film, like when Fred was signaling to Shaggy and Scooby (watch it if you don't get it). My favourite bit was when Shaggy just casually said 'Thanks, man' to an undead guard, but I think that was just me. Anothing great aspec of this one is that it really shon light on Velma as a person, and that hasn't really been done before. It showed her interests, skill and ambition to pull something huge off to scare away tomb raiders in the name of research. I also really shows off her smarts, not just in the normal 'I can read hieroglyphics' way, but the fact that she was smart enough not to tell the gang about the plot, and trust the gang to be alright with that. Not to meantion some of the classic omarges to things like Tomb Raider, and Indiana Johns. My only really distinct memory of watching this as a kid was how epic the chase scene around the tomb was and how big all of the areas were, and watching it again it didn't dissapoint. Oh, and I really liked the villain, she was realistic and sassy, and although I obviously didn't want her coming out on top, I felt a little sorry for her at the end. All in all, definately watch this, it is very good. Not the absolute best scooby doo out there, but do watch it. Sorry this one was really long. Ok. As a major Scooby Doo fan, on all means I should hate this movie. From the new voice cast, the animation, the odd storyline to the fact that it creates its own new backstory out of nowhere, this film has been very naughty. Disgraceful is the right word. Not to mention Zach Efron. We don’t have to go into that. But, saying all of that, I watched it, and I didn’t hate it! True, it was something else. It made me cringe, I didn’t like shaggy’s new voice and it was overall dodgy, but! There’s still a but! And why, this movie was so wrong on so many levels, I shouldn’t like it, it ruined so many things! Being completely honest, they did the end scene well, very emotional. Also I need to mention how dirty Warner Bros did the original cast (Mathew Lilard and so on), they kind of just kicked them out of the roles over email. Another disgraceful detail. This whole film confuses me so much that I’d rather avoid talking about it whatsoever, but this had to be said. Horrific depiction of Scooby Doo, but not a terrible movie. If u like it, u like it. But if you’re going to show your kids Scooby Doo, DON’T start with this -K

I thought this movie was going to be better than the last one but good god was I terribly surprised. It did not hit the mark guys. Instead of listening to its small audience from the first one and developing the characters that were the most liked, they just made everyone worse and did exactly what they did last time. Duncan’s (idk his proper name) new hair and fashion sense should have been burned in that fire scene where they burned her shoes (that was really random btw). The only character I liked was the Swedish guy cuz he was sweet. Don’t watch this. It doesn’t get better

I found it extremely well done for its target audience, but also others. My dad was laughing at many scenes in this movie and he’s 47. There were a lot of clever references and a lot of effort was put into it, not to mention Christin Bell and Will Arnet. While fully delivering on the funny and clever side, the whole premise of the movie provides a good moral message, and the more serious sadder scenes are pulled off nicely. To children (and maybe even some adults who don’t have a huge knowledge of DC) the villainous plot twist will come as a huge shock, which is also placed perfectly in the film. In conclusion this movie is one of the best movies made for kids I’ve seen, definitely watch it with your children
