Such a beautiful movie about love and sacrifice. Great performance by the lead actors Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood. Some of the scenes leave an indelible impression due to their portrayal of passion in true love. In the movie,Francesca decides to stay back with her husband who is a good man but doesn't match her intensity like her lover Kincaid.She may be said to have sacrificed her own physical desires for the sake of her family and children.Although she really wanted to elope with her lover and lead a much more exciting life instead of the dull farm life.But she chose the latter as she put her duty as a wife before her own selfish desire. She feels devastated to break the heart of her lover also but still goes ahead with her decision to be there for her family and children as it was the right thing to do.
