Call it what you will, this is definitely a throwback to early 2000’s action like “the losers.” If you’re looking for a deep, thought provoking plot, you are in the wrong place. If you want some awesome mindless action fun though, grab your popcorn!

10/10 I love this game! The graphics are incredible, bright, and vibrant. The gameplay mechanics feel natural, especially if you are a veteran to playing MortalKombat. The new deadly blow system, in addition to supplying some stunning visuals, is a great new gameplay mechanic that adds to the strategy of playing while not going so far as to giving one player too much of an advantage. There are some criticisms about the micro transactions in the game, but everything in the game is earnable. It can be slightly time consuming to earn everything, but that is part of the fun. If you want to be lazy and purchase everything though, it will cost you. If that makes you mad though, you can always take your anger out on an opponent with a gruesome fatality! I highly recommend this game as it is hours, no, days of fun expanding the MK lore while at the same time providing some excellent and challenging gameplay!
