Watching this I realized how rare it is to see middle aged women - let alone 60+ - portrayed in popular culture as sexual creatures. From the first scene I was drawn into this movie. My own (minor) discomfort at seeing Emma Thompson’s naked body in the tastefully done sex scenes made me question why I’ve never been uncomfortable seeing older men and younger women (50, 60 yr old men with 20 & 30 yr old women) all the time in movies. I loved this movie and am so glad Emma Thompson signed on!
