Hef did a great job of selling himself as happy go lucky, friendly, charming but you can definitely see here that the reality was very different. Lots of men here saying “the women chose it”, but clearly, the issue here is that Hef’s playground was built on lies, distortions, drugs, and a consent optional culture. The women in this documentary series cry often Because they cannot forgive themselves for being tricked, pressured, and coerced into helping this monster do the same to others to feed Hef’s appetites and those of his celebrity “friends”. Money, you say? Usually not a lot of that in reality, except for Hef… I wish he’d been exposed in his lifetime.

This is difficult to watch but perfect to see for anyone wanting-or needing to know exactly what ALS is like, from the perspectives of the stricken and of their caregivers and other loved ones. Highly recommended, but be prepared for an even more emotional experience than you might expect.
