I've finally seen "Dune: Part One" in the Philippine cinema. I know I have to see this on the big screen with Dolby Atmos. I will say that this is so far the most faithful and worthy adaptation of Frank Herbert's Sci-Fi Classic, Dune. What a perfect and beautiful marriage of Visual and Sound effects. It was aesthetically beautiful. There are some minor changes from the book but it did not destroy the book's spirit. I know for a fact that things that worked on the book will not work in the movie and vice versa. I saw in the movie mostly what I have imagined in the book which is epic. I bought my friends with me who have no single idea about the movie and I am glad that they ended up liking it and amazed by it. The last time I felt this was when I saw "The Lord of the Rings". I'll give 5/5 for Dune Movie. I know it's not a perfect movie for some but absolutely worth the watch and perfect for me. Dividing it into two movies I think is a perfect idea. I can't wait for Part Two in 2023. A great future for the franchise.
