I liked everything about this film. Everything felt so real. The emotions, the conflict and the war itself. Loved how they showed the divide between the North and South Koreans through conflicts and drama. I'm not surprised to see Megan Fox in this considering that she isn''t doing anything big in Hollywood these days. I liked her journalist character and it was based on Marguerite Higgins and Margaret Bourke-White. If I had one gripe about this film, it would be about the female soldier pretending to be a male soldier. That part seemed like something out of fiction considering that female soldiers were also enlisted in the Korean war but they were assigned as nurses instead of soldiers . That part seemed like it was there for the purpose of feminism fanservice. Oh well, history is written by the victors but apart from that, the film is a good war film. =)

Historically inaccurate--what more needs to be said ? As a piece of cinema, this film is watchable. There is enough action and violence to keep you entertained. However, it is entirely fiction. Anyone looking for an accurate movie depicting the build-up and the events of the Battle of Agincourt will be sorely disappointed. The ending is just fanciful and "woke." Netflix has made hostage a significant moment of history to really a second-rate piece of film-making. Once you know it never happened, you ask the question, "why did this film ever needed to be made?"

The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion has the same old redundnatly predictable plot of "genetically engineered kids" which are used in superhero fiction. Logan's X-23 comes to mind when you think about the plot of this film however, unlike X-23, Ja-yoon turns into this unlikeable and arrogant villain by the end of the film which makes you feel unsatisfied by the end of the film at its conclusion. What I don't get is why they had to call this film "The Witch" because it has nothing to do with witches in the first place. "The Witch" is just a nickname they give Ja-yoon in the film. Not to mention how the title makes it sound like a horror film. The action has a lot of cuts which pretty much lets you know as a viewer that these actors aren't trained in doing convincing action scenes. Not to mention how Ja-yoon shoots with one hand without even taking proper aim or looking while aiming. Its like she's shooting on autoaim like they do in videogames. Lol And how can we forget the cliche villain monologue that the female scientist makes. I still don't know why she injected her with that serum that lets her accelerate her powers for one month. That has to be one of the stupidest thing I've seen a villain do in fiction. XD I know these type of "genetically engineered kid with special powers" stories aren't exactly realistic but these guys aren't leaving one ounce of realism in this film. There's a reason why Logan was better (hell, its screenplay got oscar nominated) than this because not only are the characters better written and grounded on realism along with their "mutant abilities" but you feel a sense of danger for the Logan and X-23 as they are fighting off the villains in that film. Here, Ja-yoon is so overpowered to the point that you don't even care about the fight scenes because you know she's gonna predictably win by the end of the fights which she was dominating. Anyway, I would have liked this film better had there been any sense of unpredictability or danger with our main character Ja-yoon. Not to mention how much of a dick she turns out to be by the end of the film that you feel unsatisfied that she's still alive by the end of the film. Huge thumbs down from me.

This movie is one of the most idiotic movies I have seen, the dumb woman slaughters an innocent man and she goes unpunished, the dead people tell her to get a soul, no morals in the movie. I just wasted my time and bandwidth on this garbage. Not to mention the bad direction as well. Netflix needs less idiotic US trash films like this one and more real films from places like China, France, Japan, Germany, Spain, Iran, Korea, Russia. Anywhere other than the US & Bollywood, where people are still making original films with passion.

People will deem anything a masterpiece these days. I was expecting a masterpiece folk horror film but what I got was nothing but disappointment. I was expecting something as good as Hereditary but what I thought to be folk horror turned out to be an artsy exploration of a fictional cult and their various weird practices. I mean, first of all, the movie has gorgeous camerwork and cinematography shot in a way that it gives you a trip in certain scenes but the movie has not one ounce of horror other than a bunch of disturbing visuals of heads getting decapitated or people falling to their deaths. Nothing we haven't seen before in horror films or cult horror films. I mean, it was obvious that Florence Pugh's character was going to be the final girl in the movie but my gripe is not that. My gripe is that we don't see the characters trying to break out of this cult. There's no sense of thrill or horror we usually see in cult related horror where characters try to escape said cult. No, instead of that, the characters in this movie (Florence Pugh's character and her boyfriend in particular) embrace the weird practices of the cult and thats pretty much it. I was bored by the slow pace of this movie within the final 50 minutes of this movie. It was in the final 20 minutes of the movie that we see Florence Pugh's character's boyfriend actually discover the bodies of their friends who disappeared mysteriously. Speaking of which, the characters don't even question the disappearance of their friends and they just go along with whatever ritual or practice the cult has in store for them. This is basically an artsy exploration of a fictional cult and their weird practices and rituals. Not to mention the ritual sacrifice we've seen cults do in other cult related horror films. If you're going to watch it, I'd watch it for the cinematography but after watching this, I guarantee you that you wouldn't wanna watch it again since in my opinion, it has no rewatch value unless you're into the weird traditions of this cult. I found Netflix's movie Apostle more engaging and horrifying compared to this and that movie is a better horror film based around a cult than this one in my opinion.

This is a libtard show displayinng white people as evil and black folks as victims. Its so woke that it'll feel like you're watching CNN rather than watching fictionalized entertainment. I miss the days when entertainment wasn't flooded with PC garbage and political agendas. In times where white people are emasculated and being shown as evil, this show is just another one of those propaganda filled shows from liberals who just want to push their agendas. I feel sorry for white people nowadays and the funny thing is, I'm not even white.

First episode was great and intrigues you into the plot. Second episode was a bit slow and draggy for my taste. Killing Scott and Sarah Greene's characters have great chemistry as partners. Its a shame that there's no indication of romance between them considering that they are seeing other people on the show. Been a fan of Killian Scott since I saw him on the show Damnation and he was the entire reason I started watching this show in the first place. Nonethless, looking forward to the remaining weekly episodes.

This film is another mediocre film in the awful New 52 universe of DC animated films. I honestly liked the 2009 animated film better than this one because this film is basically the 2017 Wonder Woman live-action film with different villains and no character development. I mean, Steve Trevor lands in Themiscyra and Diana leaves Themiscrya with Trevor after barely interacting with him. You can see the lack of character development when you compare this film with the 2017 Wonder Woman film. I remember when DC animated films had quality and rewatch value rather than lazy animation and political agenda. The story seemed promising at first but the first 17 minutes of the film had such bad pacing that you almost felt bored. After that is when the film's titles show up by the way. First and foremost, why racebend Etta Candy into a black woman to the point that she looks like fat Amanda Waller? Its like Hollywood has some sort of quota to fit one token black person in the cast of each film and they'll racebend whichever character into a black person to accomplish that and sadly, this trend has caught onto animation as well. Then you have the Silver Swan chick who teams up with the main villains (Dr. Poison and Dr. Cyber) of the film so that she can exact revenge from Diana for getting her mom killed when it was the main villains' henchmen that actually got her killed in the first place. Like, what is the logic in that? Its like Batman teaming up with Joe Chill to take revenge on the GCPD for not protecting his parents from getting murdered by Joe Chill. The logic is so flawed in that. I had to skim throught parts of this film because the pacing was so bad and the film gets boring in the middle with the whole treasure quest to find Themiscyra. Not to mention the cheesy dialogues here and there which feel like they were written by a high school dropout. Adding profanity to a dialogue doesn't make it good writing. It just means that the writing is cliche and unintelligent. The only good thing about this film was the final fight scene which felt like Diana had no chance in winning. That was probably the only enjoyable moment in this entire film. This film is essentially woke. I mean, I laughed when they showed the Amanda Waller look-alike with two Amazonian chicks in the end. Like what purpose did that serve exactly other than propaganda being pushed? Its like showing a pointless token straight couple in a lesbian or gay film. If it has no impact on the story, why show it? I do hope that they're done with these lazy and mediocre New 52 animated films and go back to each film being its own thing. There was quality when DC's animated films were made that way compared to now. I mean, look at how bad Batman: Hush was when they couldn't do the decent thing of adapting a classic storyline faithfully. Not to mention that they changed the identity of a villain for cheap shock value. Either way. I hope they're done with the New 52 animated universe considering that its been years since the New 52 has been over in comics.

I'm not into slow dramas but I enjoyed this one and the metaphor that this fllm represented. Its about acceptance and we all accept our fate no matter what our fate is.Like how we accept death whether we use religion or make kids to make our self feel better about our mortality and limited time on this earth. The story's writer Kazuo Ishiguro spoke on issue of why the characters of the film didn't run or rebel in an interview at the film's launch: He wasn't looking to tell the story of slaves who rebel. He is fascinated by the extent with which people (when threatened by authority) remain passive. The young people in the book simply don't have any conception of a world in which they can escape. They fail to find freedom because they lack "perspective". When he have showed the film to Russian audiences the question of them running away from the system didn't come up. When he showed the film to Japanese audiences, in Tokyo, the question didn't come up. There are societies where the process of that society and the reality of the atmosphere of that society is so pervasive, since birth, that people are raised to believe that it’s noble to be a cog and fulfil your destiny and your responsibility to the greater society. It’s just how these characters think. It’s a very western idea and a very American idea that a movie story is somehow broken if it’s not about a character who fights. I honestly watched this film expecting a mediocre love triangle but I'm glad I gave it a chance because it was so much more. The pacing being slow is my only gripe about this film because the plot is amazingly sad, depressive, bleak and realistically grounded compared to the abundance of make believe rebellion stories out there.

Its true what they say. History really is written by the victors. This show on the other hand, is an awful SJW agenda driven war drama. Like seriously, who wants to see gay representation in a world war themed drama?! Might as well include all the hundreds of genders SJWs claim to exist along with it. I doubt that there will be an accurate and politcal correctness-free war film or show in this age of toxic political correctness and this show is a perfect example of politcal correctness in a period when silly things like that didn't exist.
