The amazing technology that let the producers have planes and ships that looked realistic and accurate was impressive. The movie is a technical marvel. Unfortunately, it was WAY WAY overused. The dive bonding scenes with dive bombers going down 5 or 6 at a time was ludicrous. There were only 12 or 15 total in those raids and they dove one at a time in single file. Some body got an impressive new toy but didn't have the judgement to use it well. The 76 movie was much better.
