A weird and bizarre movie that rounds out the trilogy of Death Note movies rather nicely. Matsuyama once again gives a great performance as L, whose character is done perfect justice. The movie has a tone that switches between humorous and serious and although one could call it distracting, I found the gags and sheer ridiculousness of a number of scenes to make the movie constantly entertaining. This film obviously won't be for everyone but it is perfect for any Death Note fan or anyone who enjoyed the previous two movies.
