I can watch this gem of a film over and over again. Each of the actors is sublime and act their socks off. Dora O'Brien is mesmorising. She gets every nuance right. She is not the greatest of mothers but she has heart and soul. Rita Tushingham has the most soulful eyes. The other actors just play their parts beautifully. Great story, funny lines, evokes a by gone age of ordinary people.

Every single story held my interest from the beginning to the end. Superb, entertaining, crazy, roller-coaster of a ride. Beautifully crafted and filmed. Loved every second of it.
