Don't get me wrong. Sia is an amazing creator who has spoken out about many issues and faced them beautifully, but this is a disgrace to the autistic and ND community. In this movie, Sia shows unnecessary restraint of an autistic individual, which is both unethical and illegal. She also casted a person without Autism to play as the main character, which comes across as stereotypical and rude. Sia refuses to take action and apologize for this clearly ableist and quite honestly unappealing movie. Do yourself a favor and don't support or watch this disappointing and lackluster movie.
