Amazing! I had never seen a show go from great to unwatchable so fast. Love Nathan Fillion and the chemistry of the cast, the story while unbelievable at times (hey it’s tv) was still very enjoyable and funny. Then season 3 came along and it is a cop show that hates itself. Humor and chemistry is absent as is any semblance of writing. PC gone over the top ... very sad to see all involved actors stuck to this anchor of a once great show. I lasted 2 episodes into the 3rd season.

First season was good, well written and great chemistry between actors. Second season is not good. The writing borders on ridiculousness, chemistry between actors was replaced by each actor having a specific annoying quirk that defines them. Relying on deceased wife is now old and it feels like they never thought it past a 1 season run... Every episode is “he’s irresistible because his wife’s dead” Not a story line and not funny anymore. Youngest daughter who was to young for earrings now has so much make up on she looks 20. Goggins feels a odd choice for this role, he did 6 great seasons as the murderous swastika covered Aryan, Boyd crowder on justified so it just feels weird watching him in this role. Omar Benson and Maya Lynne Robinson remain very likable but are given a uncomfortable not well written episode.

Loved the first season. PC woke is on every show at least one episode this season and usually done very poorly, then it’s dropped from the show the following week... which is followed by a ratings drop... but here they have made it a continuous story line and a bizarre one where black police (not citizens) are blatantly treated like it’s the1950s south by white police without any repercussions! Amazingly horrible written story line. Police are a brotherhood for goodness sake! Changing the narrative to only white cops are the problem is pretty much as evil as the serial killers portrayed in the show. I have hope but fearful that poorly written storyline is going to burn this show.

Jokes, cast chemistry, ridiculous premise and attempt at 4rth walling (I am a huge fan of 4rth walling) is extremely..... awful. All involved should be ashamed of this. I had stayed away from reviewing tv shows up until now but this show was so poorly executed that I had to write something. It is a insult to viewers that broadcast tv thinks this little of them. Call me kat is the American version of a British series called Miranda that ran 20 episodes over a 5yr period. We have all spent the last (COVID) year sitting around and the best they could do was deciding which old Brit show should we copy? Nobody could think of something original?

Excellent piece of work. Characters and story are exceptional. Trailers had me wanting to see this so badly and I was not let down by the series, in fact It was better than the trailers portrayed.
