I really enjoy the Miles Morales spider-man, into the spiderverse was amazing, he had a great origin story. Just an immediate winner. However, this book was absolutely terrible. This was not a spider-man book, it was a teen drama book with racism as its backbone and selling point. Just because we have a super hero does not mean you have to use him to push your false agenda its becoming ridiculous. This is not how you combat racism. Shoving it down throats will only create a greater divide. Overall a really poor excuse for a spider-man book and don't bother reading it. Hopefully the Miles morales one tied to the video game will be better. Fingers crossed.
