In telugu cinema especially, its kind of impossible that we see movie, the theme, production values to be honest and sticking to the story without digressing. That is one of the reasons why the movie Jersey touches us so much. For a moment after the movie is over, I was thinking about the logic of the movie going wrong - but later realized that the protagonist chooses to live like a hero to his son and keeps him inspiring rather than (don't want to reveal story at this point). The movie is so heart touching, I was in tears at several moments during the duration. It's a classic and the performances will stay with us. There is nothing that is forced upon us in this movie. We just get immersed and travel along. Anirudh's background score worked very well. For a long time now, whenever I like some old telugu movies, I realized that the story is a remake of some other language film. But, Jersey is a straight telugu story that clicked well and I am super happy about it. Super super proud of Nani for not only bringing such masterpieces to us, but also slowly changing telugu cinema level.
