I watched only the first season so far. This is not your typical show. While there is an overall plot to follow along with, many minutes consists of random skits that don't drive the story forward much. However, there's nothing bad about that at all. If you like Rhett and Link on YouTube then you will like Buddy Systems. It's a treasure trove of their childish and undefined humor. The random skits are still funny and feels like you're watching a string of short YouTube videos by Rhett and Link, just connected through the main plot. If you're looking for a typical TV show like Breaking Bad or Lost where you can get connected to characters, go through a range of emotion, and go through a rabbit hole in a different world, this isn't exactly that type of show. But if you're looking for more of Rhett and Link, their unique humor, their funny ideas for skits, something lighthearted - Buddy Systems is great. I highly recommend this to anyone who already likes Rhett and Link but I don't think someone who doesn't already recognize them would really understand the show.
