I simply did not like the story. The first game was great and I avoided all the spoilers for this one. Even when Joel died I powered through. But I failed to "get" perspective through Abbey. Half the game was playing her. I was reckless just to watch her die after a point. The ending was poor, and sure some will argue that in a post apocalyptic world its expected. But that's not the story I want to spend my money on. Like a preference of a movie, I prefer the hero gets something good at the end. I know there are those that don't but I don't care to watch them. If a depressing, non-rewarding ending is your thing then cool. But this one was not for me. The first game was glorious. I wish I could get a refund on this one. But thats my opinion. Others have theirs.
