The story cleverly unfolds with the “performance” ( a play) and its presentation and lead players jolting the 3 female main characters from the actions on stage to the various real life drama in their own lives. The story moves between the 3 women linking their stories and backgrounds eventually leaving you wondering how they all survive in reality once the play ends and they leave the venue for return home. An extremely well crafted novel with believable characters.
