I really enjoyed this sophisticated take on the stage show. Most of the actors were superb, with the exception of one or two less than average performances. And of course the music was really good. I think you have to know the original pretty well to appreciate how good this was. The costumes were fantastic. Dame Judy, James Corden and Taylor Swift were all excellent, as was the dancing, especially by "Victoria". Weak performances though from Idris Elba and Rebel Wilson, and Jennifer Hudson's rendition of the key song, "Memory" was disappointing - far too melodramatic. Overall though it was far better than those silly critics have given it.
