Gumasthan is a thriller in the true sense.. i sat through the movie unable to pause it.. mallu movies are a class by themselves.. the movie doesn’t end it rather leaves a loose end to keep u guessing what could happen

NERU Jeetu Joseph is back with a heart warming courtroom drama and brings back our Lalettan in the form we all love to watch. Superbly written n directed , no over the top scenes in the courtroom.. Sara the blind gorl aces her act, i was so furious with Siddiqui that though watching alone wanted to scream Get Lost.. goes to show how he excels in his art. Lalettan with minimal body language n poweful dialogue delivery n acting skill is back to steal our hearts all over again. The movie belongs to the blind girl who sends out the powerful message : life doesn’t end with a rape. Justice or no justice she will live with conviction n courage n being blind is not the end of the road. Hats off Jeetu Joseph n the script writer for bringing a powerful story with no larger than life portrayals. A Must Watch !!

Must watch.. strong performances by Mohanlal and Asha Sharath.. gripping tale n direction by Jeetu Joseph. A humble request .. please don’t make a remake in Hindi or Tamil.. this is a master piece worth leaving intouched.

Gangubai Kathiawadi I had my doubts about the naive looking Alia portraying a sex worker from Kamatipura but believe me she did it in her own style not like Tabu or Kareena and has outshined all. Profound dialogue delivery and the soulful expressions in between the roguish behaviours .. she shines in those white sarees like none other and Sanjay Sir has picturised the streets of Kamatipura and the ongoings in those infamous lanes so well you feel u were walking those lanes..Dialogues prompt you to applaud very often n there is this humour lining the underlying sorrow in the lives of these women.. in her speech Gangubai says ‘ Aapki izzat ek baar gayi toh gayi..hum toh roj raatko izzat bechte hain ..saali khatamich hi nahi hoti…’many more such dialogues. . You won’t be caught looking at your phone as these enthrall you and make you think about these women from the so called Badnam Gully. My heart goes out to those women .. thank you Sanjay Leela Bansali for a soul stirring portrayal and hats off Alia Bhatt.. another feather in your cap.

Sardar Uddam Have read and seen the depiction of the Jallianwala massacre many times and been saddened by it. Shoojit Sircar took away my breath leaving me sobbing and distraught as Vicky Kaushal aka Udham ferries the injured and barely alive victims on a handcart to and fro from the Baug to a make shift hispital where a single doctor steadfastly tries to do his best.. my blood boiled and i wanted General Dwyer to be shot not once but several times and yet the British never gave up on him openly.. Vicky with an innocent face but fire raging inside has excelled and i would never have known that all the dead that day were wrapped in a shroud..each one ..before being engulfed in flames..this movie .... no this event from history today makes me feel so helpless and insignificant before Bhagat Singh and Udham singh. My Salutations to Soorjit and Vicky Kaushal for i only see in them our revolutionaries whom I didn’t have the fortune to be there with them when they were there. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
