Good Lord this anime scarred me. My favorite part had to be the art style, because the rest of this had me tearing up. At times, scenes could be extremely graphic, which wouldn’t have been a problem if they weren’t so intense and so often. The plot wasn’t entirely cohesive, and the entire production felt rushed. I understand what they were going for with each scene, and I knew the emotions that I was supposed to feel, but neither the characters nor the atmosphere were fleshed out enough to fully immerse the viewer. It seems to me that the producer focused more on shock value than actual plot, which is sad. I can see myself enjoying the manga, but the anime wasn’t done very well. Better luck next time Netflix
