As a prequel to the Harry potter era, the settings should be more fitting for that era. Despite a slight lacking of authenticity, the story is nonetheless quite captivating with Rowling's hallmarks of wizardry skills all over it. A 5 movies series is rather lengthy, but not for die hard Potter fans, at the same time keeping the HP flame from fading in obscurities.
