I really like the plot and the theme of all the mythical creatures also having a play with demons and angels ...but I feel the actor playing Clary is not up to the mark, too melodramatic and whiny and I know, this might just be the way the script is but her acting is horrible. I know she is a pretty red head but please ask her not to be so superficial when it comes to her acting skills and the character as such has no depth, one minute she is ecstatic and the next she is crying... it’s like the ultimate roller coaster of emotions and I get it she is friend zoning Simon but she can at least be a bit better with the way she emotes. She also has this horrible habit of actually stopping in between a mission or something important to talk to a person, it’s like she doesn’t understand the seriousness of the mission... unnecessarily jabbering on and on, sometimes you just wish she would shut up or something bad happens to her so that she finally shut up, she has this weird timing to take a moment to actually express her feelings,(in my mind:* oh god please shut up!). She makes everything seem like it should revolve around her... a tad bit too over dramatic and fussy. Sorry I had to go on and on about the female protagonist but I guess people should know before they ended up like me having a major head ache every time Clary opened her mouth. My overall description of Clary is an attention seeking, over dramatic female lead who thinks her life is more important and everyone should do their best to make things in her life better... oh and I think she suffers from brain damage maybe because she has too many contradictory thoughts and emotions... maybe all this is just happening in her head while she is in an asylum. “Just kidding”.. I like the other characters a lot especially Magnus, his eye rolls are one of the best moments of his sarcastic jabs and well that’s about it. Isabelle is a bombshell and an entire package I love her ... just that Clary puts down the entire show.. other wise it’s a pretty nice show to kill time with.
