If critics don't like it I know I will, ok so the dog is CFI, I give kudos to Ford for his part, he makes you get into the story and get past the animation and get into the story. Cgi has come a long way, hair/fur, muscle tone under the fur, small details in the eyes and nose,. Anyone who likes the book will like the movie, anyone who enjoys watching the evolution of CGI, will love picking pieces out and studying, how they did that. I liked there story, and is close to the book. In film you will never get 100%. As an engineer I enjoy the technical aspects. It all about escapism. And, this film did a great job. Thumbs up.
