I had low expectations due to the the trailer being ridiculously overplayed, and went in negatively- however, in the first five minutes I was laughing and I was won over. The acting is amazing from everybody, and the script was cohesive. Everything made sense, there were no real plot holes, it was suspenseful and I couldn’t guess the ending. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the movie as much as I did, but I’m blown away. Definitely one of the better films of 2024

After watching the whole movie, I still can’t tell you what the plot was. There was too much going on and the script was lazy. Jenna Ortega plays the typical angry teen who’s mad at her mother and Lydia Deetz is simply pathetic. Catherine O Hara appeared to be playing her character of Moira from Schitt’s Creek. And Monica Belluci’s character was so pointless. I saw no real chemistry with any of the characters. The best part about this film was when it ended

Great show but ugh Amber always plays victim and literally can’t keep her legs closed for anything! It’s annoying that her whole character just revolves around men

Great action, suspense, good storyline and the characters weren’t annoying. Movie was done with care and I can’t wait to see it a second time.

Honestly the only reason I didn’t leave the theater was because I didn’t want to have to keep squeezing past peoples feet on the recliner chairs. Boring, cheesy and characters were annoying

Dont waste your time or money. The more i think about the movie the more mad i get. There’s no plot, we learn nothing about the creatures, we see them a few times and the whole movie is us following a childish ill woman with a cat and a helpless, lost foreign man around the city looking for pizza. This movie was unnecessary and had a lot of potential to provide some back story, yet failed to do so.

Even though it’s a movie about a monster, it’s incredibly human above all else. This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in along time

Halle can sing but god she can’t act. It would have been better just letting her sing the songs and having someone else be Ariel. King Tritan was nowhere near intimidating at all and overall the movie was just boring. Unnecessary changes and everyone’s acting was mediocre overall
