Other than the atrocious prequels this is a complete dud of a Star Wars movie....it goes out of its way to make no sense at all. When i was actually in the theater watching it i knew it was a bad sign when i kept checking my watch hoping for it to be over, but realizing it was no where near because the scenes from the trailers still haven't appeared. We are treated to a long series of "gotcha" moments,one r ight after another. I kept asking myself in disbelief how in the world people at.Disney green lit so many obvious gaffes. Disney is usually good at storytelling. Thats what this movie lacks, big time...relying on admittedly very good computer animation. But even when they do try to create a st ory arc, it does so by throwing everything in the furnace hoping to con the spectator into thinking they just saw.something spectacular,when in reality the viewer is left confused, and in my case, angry.So little return. This may be a pretty decent movie if it.was one episode of a ten episode season HBO or Netflix series, but they try to run this out as a movie to stand on i ts own, but has it s.legs chopped out from beneath. I mean it didnt even honor the characters the movie before tried so hard to make you care about,some were just cast aside with almost zero explanation...Speaking of HBO series, Game of Thrones does an excellent job of building characters,and even though abrupt, when the ir characters meet the end, theres a thoughtful reason,...what this movie did to new and old characters is criminal....and God awful stupid...wait till u see what they did to the princess....jeez....talk about lazy. Then Snoke(can u tell me who the hell he is and how did he come to rule "The Order"),,,,and finally Luke, who has forgone all the values he was supposed to live by as a Jedi. This movie is a joke and all the critics who said it was great have sold their souls to the Devil and were paid under the table. If they truly thought it was a great Star Wars movie then the whole concept of these sagas were lost on them. 4 out of 10
