This was such a powerful depiction of the black woman standing by her man. My favorite scene, one of many is when Rose discovered Troys unfaithfulness...she did not ask about the other womens age or beauty, because Rose knew she had given all what she could as a women to her man, his decision to be unfaithful was based on his need not her lack as a women.
