Review for Ner konda Parvai
The few of us who has watched the original movie, the PINK would have been hesitant about watching the movie. But I bow down to the Tamil version, totally the movie is a rockstar. Watching the movie in my mother tongue and all, this movie has a powerful message and been delivered flawlessly. So a must watch even if you have already watched the hindi version.
Everyone has delivered, Thala Ajith as the depressed lawyer Bharath helps not just the girls in the movie, but those in audience who are ignorant as well.
There are many a law references which are really eye opening and informative. The abrupt unblinking stares by Ajith gives goosebumps to the audience. Really.
I was hesitant about the ever expressive Ajith doing the cold, dispassionate role done by the superstar Amitabh. But well done is all I can say about thala. He is perfect.
Movie is as expected, screenplay nice and the BGM nice. The action sequence, yes we have one in this movie, is so cool and again well done with an equally super cool background music. Vidya Balan is not really needed, but since she is there, well ok. She was beautiful.
The girls are the main characters and they are on point, superbly performed along with the other roles.
All common beliefs on women's characters are broken, hope they reach whomever are in total need of these beliefs broken down and clarified.
And finally, truth doesn't prevail, since everybody knows it since the beginning. It's how all should start thinking, the total opposite of the rules said prevail. NO does really mean NO, always. No excuses.
