Fascinating glimpse into not only master craftspeople carefully repairing beloved treasures, but also the history, tradition and circumstances that made them so important to the people who bring them in. I love learning what’s involved in glasswork, woodwork, metalwork and doll repair. The respect and honor the masters bring to repairing each piece is awesome, and I cry right along with the owners when they finally see the restored belonging. The cinematography and editing are great too—incredible closeups and slow pacing to showcase the amazing work each Repair Shop craftsperson does.
